Dr. Donna de Villier is a psychiatric advanced practice nurse specializing in working with adults, adolescents and children providing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, crisis interventions, individual, couples and family therapy, to include cognitive behavioral and play therapy.

With over 25 years experience as an psychiatric advanced practice nurse, and as a graduate of Brandman University as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Dr. de Villier specialized in a variety of therapeutic modalities like interpersonal interactive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Dr. de Villier has been licensed by the Association of Play Therapy as a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor to provide play therapy supervision to therapists wishing to specialize in play therapy. Other areas of expertise include medical and psychological assessment, diagnosis, functional assessments, behavioral plan development and she routinely collaborates with the public school system to get your Childs special needs meet with in the educational system.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Dr. Donna de Villier has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of play therapy and play therapy training/supervision.
